There exists a cycle of ambiguity that demonstrates the vast potential of interpretation, thus leading to self-revelations that could not exist without hardship.
Life persists even when it seems almost impossible, and the impressions left on us by its struggle are remarkable.

The push of industrialization, the pull of encroaching tides and floodwaters: Freeport and the surrounding areas of Surfside and Quintana are in constant flux.
This project began shortly after Hurricane Harvey and continued until stopped by Covid-19 limitations.
Originally intended to be shown as a projection surrounded by found objects from Surfside Beach, Freeport, and Quintana, this work will now be shown as a standalone short film in Rice Cinema.
