The show will be directed by Heidi Hinkel, who teaches acting and stage combat, and also co-directed “She Kills Monsters.” The show will initially rehearse in-person, for those available on campus, and the final production will be performed virtually. If you’re remote you may still be in the show as long as you’re able to join synchronously.
Students may receive D1 credit for working in this class by registering for THEA 331. This class is dual delivery with the final production performed virtually.
Questions: email Christina Keefe at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Rice Theatre Program produces two stage productions per year (one fall and one spring). The fall 2020 production will be announced early in the semester, check back then for information and details.
Theatre majors participate in the productions to receive hands on experience as an actor, designer or technician. Our program also encourages and supports our students to participate in local theatre companies and venues through volunteering, internships, and fellowships. Our students have internships with such companies as the Alley Theatre, Houston Shakespeare Festival, and Theatre Under the Stars, among others.
